      I can't remember dreams....

      I am doing a school project on lucid dreams, and R.E.M. sleep. I know that R.E.M. sleep occurs about every 90 minutes, and that once you wake up you should stay still and think about the emotions and thoughts you had in your dream. I also know what dream signs are, and I know (when I am awake) which signs are which. For some reason I can never put 1 and 2 together and I can never remember an entire dream. I might remember a flash or an emotion, but thats it. In the past 5 nights I haven't remember any dreams at all. What can I do???

      Hello Will28 and Welcome!

      I would sugguest you check out some of the threads here, you can get your answers for sure. Also try creating some Dream Journals, that would help you become a little more vivid try that out also.

      definitely keep a dreamjournal. every time you wake up in the night, write down everything you can remember. no matter what it is. just get everything down. sometimes later in the day, something will trigger a memory and you may remember something that you dreamed that night that you didn't remember at first. write that down also. just do that and your dream recall will increase immensely. good luck, and welcome to DreamViews.
