      So was I Lucid dreaming?

Ill just tell the last bit of my dream, because Im not sure if I was lucid dreaming or not

I was standing in the front room watching tv eating pizza, when for no apparent reason I realize im dreaming, my heart races as I realize what this means, before I have time to do anything everything starts going black (it goes full black quite quickly) around me, as everything begins to go black I start rubbing my hands and because I didnt have anything to focus on in view I had to concentrate on what it felt like to rub my hands together I even tried closing my eyes but to no avail, I could feel my self rising up towards consciousness as if I was floating up through water to the surface the (surface being concious), when i became concious I was still rubbing my hands, I think, but I didnt wake up fully and I think I went into a non lucid dream, that or I had a false awakening because when I woke up properly my hands werent close to each other.

It may be worth noting that I didnt have this dream till like 9:30 am after I had a good 8.5 hours sleep.

Also it didnt really feel like I could control anything, I know i was waking up but I feel like i was dreaming about lucid dreaming, as everything still had a sort of dreamy look on it, before it all went black (its hard to explain)
I can't say I really know anything about what you're talkinga bout , but I said plausible because of that incredibly cool blind spot trick .
