      Hi I'm Spanjo

      Hi everyone
I'm new and I'm an Aussie.

I've decided to join 'Dream Views' because I am a very anxious person and have really bizarre dreams. If I can get control over my dreams I don't think I'd be so anxious.
You can overcome your fears and nightmares - which falls through to waking life (fears = nightmares = fears)
My dream experience up until now
-Sometimes I'll get out of bed and just run until I wake up enough to realise I'm dreaming.
-I see what I'm dreaming about in my room. I'll sit up half awake and point at it and talk.
-I have slapped somebody across the face while I was asleep.
-These things scare me in my dreams -Spiders, -People whispering to me, -People sitting on my bed.
-Sometimes I wake up and see a transclucent body next to me. I'll sit up and wave my hand through it and it doesn't go away. When Iwake up my husband he tells me there is nothing there.
-I have had a couple of dreams that have happened or pointed out important things in real life eg: Finding out my sister was a heroin user.
-My last dream I had I woke up choking and I'm sure it was from my dream not from anything else like swallowing a bug.

I was quite a bizarre child but now that I have a family of my own I am very grounded and normal. I do like my bizarre dreams but I wish I could have happy ones. I don't like being anxious, I'm scared it'll pass on to my kids.
When I go to sleep I close my eyes. When I dream I seem to open them. Occasionally my husband has asked me what I'm looking at and hasn't believed that I was asleep.

      Nice to me you all.

Hello & welcome to the forum!
      1) Ditto! I usually do the same. Nothin' better than sneaking off to the movies w/Cody in a white robe!!
      2) That is Hypnotic imagery, I believe
      3) Sleep fighting? I have actually done a few things like that, but I have gotten through that one..just try to focus on your dreams.
      4) Seeing a ghost? Or maybe someone is dreaming..
      5) Precog dreams...that is when you can look into the future a little. I myself have done this a few times
      6) Maybe you have allergies, & are choking a little on that. Sometimes I will do the same even if I choke in a dream.

      Hope that helps!

      Hi.

I'm another new member, just dropped in to say hello and welcome to DV.

I have had a couple of those experiences myself. I really hope you get a reign on your dreams and dream related experiences. Such occurences can be scarey stuff.

Wishing you the best of luck with everything.
      C-Ya round.
