How long does it take to become lucid? (EXPERTS PLEASE)

I was just wondering, and anyone with experience can answer. How long does it take to become lucid. I can already recall around 1-3 dreams a night, i just need to start the reality checks. But after that how long would you say it takes to be able to control the dreams? Also what does it feel like when u are lucid and moving around and controlling the dream?
all our lives we've fought this war. Tonight i believe we can end it. Isnt that a chance worth fighting for? Isnt that a chance worth dying for?

      Roody8819,

There's no real time table on how and when. Like anything else you have to PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!! Keep recalling dreams and I would suggest keeping a dream journal.

It feels powerful to control your dreams. Once you realize you are dreaming, you can do almost anything. You'll be hooked after your first experience.

      Blissful

It all differs with everyone, and it depends on how much effort you put into it.

So you cant really pinpoint how long it would take.

...some people have a lucid dream the first night after hearing about it. for others it takes months. the average is about a week. don't worry, as long as you keep trying and believe that you can, it shouldn't take long. the key is to have a good attitude. how does it feel to lucid dream? exactly how you feel when you're awake.

      Welcome!!!

Everyone else has already said it. Time differs from person to person. Just keep working on it and don't get too stressed out.
