      Possible WILD?

Last night was the first night I tried something like lucid dreaming, before last night I had no idea such a magnificant thing could happen. I read up on the site as much as I could and went to sleep. I kept repeating to myself "I will remember my dreams when I wake up" untill I felt very relaxed and started slipping away. It seemed like seconds before I last remember being awake and then I remember talking to some guy in a restaurant and I think I realized I was dreaming because I woke up suddenly and then told myself "I was dreaming already!".

My first question is: Can a dream be started directly after you fall asleep? Or was I actually asleep for hours and the time went by.

And secondly: If the dream I had (though it seemed to have lasted merely seconds) started immediatly after I fell asleep does that mean it was a WILD?

Also before I fell asleep I had stayed up all night, I fell asleep at about 11:00 AM so I was tired enough to fall asleep quickly.

Yes, it can be started directly after you fall asleep....thats how people WILD without WBTB method.

If the dream I had (though it seemed to have lasted merely seconds) started immediatly after I fell asleep does that mean it was a WILD? [/b]
No. You have to stay conscious during transition process from waking life to dreamland, then it is considered as a complete WILD.
