Thread: Excited at the beginning of the journey

Hey everyone

I've always really enjoyed dreaming and I'm pretty sure I have experienced LD in the distant past to some extent. Unfortunately now my life is so busy and my mind is occupied by so much other stuff that i dont give my dreams the attention they deserve.

A few years ago my life took a significant change for the better thanks to my meeting some special people. I learned to begin asking questions and paying attention to my personal spirituality. I've been really happy and content ever since and have discovered a hunger for learning more about our interaction with each other, the universe and all the things in it. I guess I've become a bit of a sponge for information that helps me understand or appreciate our cosmic bonds. I have a good friend who is a very talented hypnotherapist and he gets involved in quite a lot of dream interpretation as part of his work. I have found myself more and more fascinated by the general subject of dreams and I have a desire to try and re-achieve some lucidity in order to let me explore my inner universe.
One of my goals is to achieve flight. I know this is everyones goal at some point and I know from reading information on this site that it's not easily attained - but when i was young, actually from as early as i can remember i experienced flying dreams - real superman one-hand-on-the-hip-one-fisted-hand-out-in-front supersonic go anywhere flying. I always thought it was normal but have discovered only a small handful of people who ever remembered experiencing it. I had flying dreams like this until i was around 21 years old then they seemed to wane but again since i was a kid i've been crazy about anything that flies and over tha last 7 years of my life have become a paragliding instructor. What i'm hoping for is to reaquaint myself with my flying dreams, achieve lucidity, and go exploring! (Don't want much eh??!!)
The information i've found on this site has given me the enthusiam to have a crack at it so I hope you'll all wish me luck and put up with my ensuing questions.
