It is very possible to remember most of your dreams from your sleep. Many people do, including myself. Waking up in the middle of the night is just helpful because you JUST had the dream. It is not necessary though. As you get better at dream recall, you will not have to wake up during the night at all. |

I try to recall my dreams when i wake up in the middle of the night but i normally will not get out of bed but I have woken up in the morning and remembered several dreams |

That's entirely possible scept, i do it every night. Usually it's that i'm remembering a dream I just had and one I had earlier in the night. |

When I wake up remembering more than one dream, I've always assumed I had all of them during the last sleeping period. I don't know any way to know whether I really had those dreams back-to-back or whether one occurred earlier in the night. |
