I am very new to LD, but I have a very good question for you guys. I have a condition by the name of nystagmus. This is a condition in which makes my eyes involuntarely move. My friends repeatedly tell me that my eyes noticable move, and I have known about it all my life. The thing is, I cannot tell they are moving unless I am under extreme pressure or extreme thought. Now the question is, can this affect my REM stages of sleep? And if so is it a advantage or disadvantage?
Correct me if I am wrong, but REM literally mean that your eye moves in a rapid motion during this phase of sleep. Maybe I might have a much longer period of REM since my eyes are moving constantly.... Lets discuss !
