      Hey all! New to DV

Hey everyone! I'm a complete noob, not going to lie lol. I just started reading about LD at the suggestion of a teacher about 3 days ago. I've done alot of reading, both in the tutorials and on the newbie forums about LD, and i'm extremely excited.

I've begun doing regular reality checks (or rather more than regular lol, i'm a bit zealous, but i want to make habit of it) and i've begun a dream log to record the dreams i recall. As of now, i've recorded only 3 dreams over two nights.

However, I think I may be taking big strides toward LD. Last night, I was having a dream about talking to my gf's aunt about anarchy, and suddenly i realized that it made no sense for me to even be with her aunt without my gf, and it occured to me that it was a dream. That is about the extent of the lucidity though, because as soon as i realized it, everything became somewhat hazy and I slipped out of the dream and awoke. I was kind of disappointed, but I hope that this shows at least some promise.

Any tips or comments would be greatly appreciated, this whole endeavor sounds like a blast!

Welcome...and Congrats! It sounds like you are well on your way to LDing. It will come with practice. The fact that you just learned about LDing only 3 days ago and already have been able to realize that you are in a dream is amazing. It can take others weeks, months, even years. Great job!

....I just sent you a welcome message...

Anyway, I'll just say congrats on the lucid. You're already off to a good start, so just keep with it and you should have many more lucids. Let us know if you need anything!
