I am very new to LD, but I have a very good question for you guys. I have a condition by the name of nystagmus. This is a condition in which makes my eyes involuntarely move. My friends repeatedly tell me that my eyes noticable move, and I have known about it all my life. The thing is, I cannot tell they are moving unless I am under extreme pressure or extreme thought. Now the question is, can this affect my REM stages of sleep? And if so is it a advantage or disadvantage? |

Im am going to spend tonight researching this REM, so I can come up with some educated hypothesis. I am so glad I stumbled into this site, it has awakaned a whole new frontier for me |

I'm definitely no expert, but if your condition doesn't bother you normally, as in when you are awake, and it doesn't keep you up at night when you aren't trying to LD, it won't hurt anything. Although, it may make it more difficult to concentrate... |
