      Hi

Hi, i am Andrea. I am 19 years old, and come from Scotland.
I have been lucid dreaming for around 4 years now. I didnt actually know i was having lucid dreaming till i found this website. I didnt have a clue about dreams.
Most of the dreams i have i can control what is happening, and i can also know that it is a dream i am in.. So are theys both lucid??
      Thanks

Hope to share my dreams with all.. I can maybe add to the journal.. Well thats if i can remember them. lol

Hello!! And welcome to the forum!!
If you are consciously aware you are dreaming, reguardless of control, you are LDing. Control only makes you at a higher level.
If you are seriously LDing for this long, you are a natural, & if that is what you are, cool!!

Yeah, i have been..Recently i got the internet so decided to look it up.. I was scared at first, cause i didnt know what it was.. Seems there is more than me this happens to.

I seem to lucid dream more when i am trying to sleep only a little while. .I can start a lucid dream myself though, i think. I think its the way i close my eyes, and i just know, something tells me i will end up going into one.. And i usually do..
Does that sound silly... I dont really know how to describe it.

Naw! There really isn't anything to be scared of.
That is b/c it is very common to have them if all you are doing is napping. And believing that works very well, since I have pretty much been Lucid since I was 3, I would just know.
It is really cool, actually....ALostSoul knows more than I do about that one, though, so you might want to ask her!!

Welcome to Dream Views, Andrea Nesgirl answered some of your questions, but so you know all of us here, including the Dream Guides and moderators would love to help you out if you need anything.

As nesgirl said, you're one of the "naturals"... *end jealousy* When you were talking about closing your eyes and knowing that you're going to enter a dream, that's often what we consider a WILD (wake induced lucid dream), where one's body falls asleep but the consciousness goes into a dream state. I'm no expert on it by any stretch of the imagination, but there's a lot of information if you're wanting to look into it more.

Lastly, as you can see from our sheer numbers here, LDing is not some freak occurrence. I've talked to several friends who didn't even know that most of us can't tell when we're dreaming. They just think everyone does. It's just unusual, but mostly what makes it cool

      Welcome

I've only had 3 lucid dreams since I found this site, the two longest and most vivid ones happened during short naps. I haven't managed a WILD yet though

Enjoy the forum, I've only been here a short time and I've already fell in love with this place
Recent Dream journal note : I was swallowed by some kind of sea-snake thing
