      New Lucid Dreamer

Hey everyone! This afternoon was my first time ever hearing about lucid dreaming, and I thought it wasn't real. That is until I found this site, and heard what kind of effects it's had on people's lives, so I decided to sign up. In just a couple minutes, I am going to try the MILD technique to lucidity, and hopefully I can get my dreams down on paper to make the device work. See you guys tomorrow morning! :D

Good luck! There's no reason you can't be lucid on your first night trying

Well, I woke up after my dream sequence like I was supposed to, but I didn't remember my dream. :(

Oh well, I'll try it again tomorrow night. :P

Hello, Welcome to Dream Views. I hate when I can't remember my dreams, happened to me last night actually. The only thing I could remember was a big Snowbank. Well good luck, I find that it helps to have a lot of confidence in gaining Lucidity.

The biggest thing when recalling dreams in the morning is as soon as you wake up, don't move. Just lay there with your eyes closed and try to remember something, anything. Typically if you can recall one detail (a color, an object, a person, a word, etc.) you will be able to recall more. Once you've managed to recall as much as you can, then get up to write it down.

I'm going to try WILD tonight, in a way that I don't have to wake up at night since my alarm clock doesn't work. Wish me luck in four hours! :P

Are you sure? No offfence, but isn't WILD a little difficult? Since you couldn't remember the first dream I'd recommend doing a few nights of Dream recall, then you can try WILD if you want.

I can't say either way from experience, but the tutorial says that WILD is very difficult, but some ppl attest that it for them is a very easy method to LD. I'd say give it a shot. I almost had one, and i'm a complete newb lol. Welcome, and good luck!

Thanks a lot. I'm going to try and mix that with that paralysis thing. It might be interesting, since I think both of those will go hand-in-hand.

Welcome to Dream Views As someone who can speak from personal experience, WILDs are not the best way to begin Lucid Dreaming. WBTB and MILD are the eiaset and yield the best results for Lucid Dreamer, new or experienced. The thing is though, you have to be able to remember your dreams or Lucid Dreaming has no point. For all you know, you could have Lucid Dreams every night, but cannot remember them.

Well, everyone's different. I've heard of people who've managed a WILD their first time. It all just really depends, and SP is a good segue into a WILD, or at least so I've heard.

I tried a WILD this morning, I fell asleep before the sleep paralysis part . But I had a dream which came very close to lucid(read my journal for details). Even if the WILD doesn't work it still seems to help towards LD's anyway, so go for it
Recent Dream journal note : I was swallowed by some kind of sea-snake thing

Last night, I lost oncentration on my breathing too easily, and I couldn't remember my dream... sigh.
