      Also new here

      Hi all,
My name is David, I live in Sweden and have almost finished med school. I am 24 years old.

I''ve had quite a lot of spontaneous lucid dreams all my life, at least 100 of them I would assess. A few years ago, I also did some dream experiments on my own. I was a bit discouraged however, when a friend told me it could be dangerous to "go to deep into yourself". After that, I also had some scary lucid dreams in which "my darker sides" appeared.

Now I'm back in business. For a while I haven't used the fact that I've noticed to be dreaming but instead continued as a regular dream. Now I'm ready to go back to lucidity to do some more exploring and learn new stuff. For instance, I've never managed to to fly out into space, my mind always starts overworking when I try that (if I finally dare) and I wake up. I would also like to learn how to predetermine my dreams for the night.

I have started a dreamlog, look for dream tells and will try going up early and then back to sleep. I'll let you know my progress. Thanks for any advice on the way!

      David

      Welcome on board!

Over 100 LDs, is pretty impressive. I think you had better enjoy dreaming while you can. You will not be sleeping when you do your residency!
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

      Control and action

Now I've read some and tried some dreaming, had perhaps 10 LD:s since Dec 2005, some were kinda cool but in many I just can´t decide what to do, and I have trouble controlling the dream. When I want to take control I often lose grip of the dream and the safest thing seems to be to just see where the dream takes me, which is not always very exciting.

Any tips on this? How should I prepare to get some fun during my LD:s? Now I am mostly stunned by how beautiful the suuroundings are and how interesting it is talking to people who I know don't exist except in my head. I want more...

      thanks for any suggestions!
