You knew this is now a new newbie thread, didn't you?

      Hello

      ...time for a presentation...

I've had a small number of lucid dreams in my life.
Years ago, I didn't know I could do something about them -controlling them-, so I didn't and woke up on purpose. It's interesting to note that in those times I had constantly sleep paralysis, but not now.
Now that I want to lucid dream, I almost never have LD. And the ones I've had, I used to waste them by being lost in the dream again.
Once in a while I have what I call "semi lucid dreams", in which I realize that I'm dreaming, but not quite realize, due to the silly actions I use to do. It's like dreaming about having a lucid dream, if you know what I mean.

      Greetings
      -Bernie

Hello, Bernie, & welcome to the Forum!!
Just keep trying, & you'll have a LD! The best way to try to have them is to keep a Dream Journal.

Oh, I do... or did. When I was following the guidelines of a book named "Lucid Dreams in 30 Days". But, I got stuck in the day 3.
      Thanks for the advice anyway

You may also consider trying to RC during Waking Life. I find that if people do that, it is alot easier to LD!!

Ugh, I just love your avatar! So cute!

Best advice, just keep at it, and don't get too frustrated if you don't get it back right away. If you've had the ability before, it'll come back. And as has been said, don't hesitate to send questions our way.
