      Any info??

      I have been interested in lucid dreams for years now but have never managed to have one. I havce been semi lucid once but slipped back in to my dream.

      I have been keeping a dream diary and doing reality checks for about a week or 2 now but im not sure what tecniques to use to gain lucidity. I tried WILD after sleeping for 6 hours twice but lost conciousness both times .

      Any other ideas would be good.

      Welcome to the forum, Misty-Dreamer, & so close to Christmas, too!

      The best thing to do is to keep on trying. Not everyone can get it right when they learn about it. Sometimes it can take a couple of months doing all that....so all you can do is be patient, & keep trying..
      Or, you can always read the tutorials.

      I recomend MILD for beginers, it worked for me when I first started. Just keep at it and don't lose hope, failure is imposible if you keep trying.

      Welcome Misty First of all, WILD is the hardest Lucid Dreaming Method of all. Don't do until you have tired the other I reccomend WBTB. It is relitivly easy, and can get you used to pre-WILD conditions. ON second thought, just go through all of them that are in the tutprial. One of them is bound to be the right one for you PM me anytime if you have any other questions or just need some help.

      Thanks for all your help. I had my first lucid dream last night!!!!

      I actually had one when I hadnt even tried the wbtb method (which I have been trying these past few nights.) I was really tired so I decided to just go to bed and I couldnt set an alarm to wake me up because my sisters were in the room with me as I had gone away 4 xmas..
      I had a horrible nightmare that this woman was going to murder me. As soon as my dream turned in to a nightmare I paniced but the panic made me realise that I was dreaming. I made the woman melt in to nothing and then ran away. I felt the dream fading so I stared at the detail on my palms and shouted 'more lucidity' and it worked really well.

      I then flew around my dream world for a bit and found my sister to tell her I was having a lucid dream. I then thought 'what else can I do' I decided I was hungry and tried to make a piece of chocolate appear in my hands but it didnt work. I then woke up from the excitement of it all.

      I was so worried tho because I diddnt have my dream diary there as I had gone to my aunts house for the night and left it behind. I could feel my dream slipping away but I saved it as a text on my phone (compromise!)
