Sometimes, when I'm really tired and am trying to go to sleep, I'll have my eyes closed and am going to bed and my thoughts are going. I'll just be thinking and not really be paying attention, like day dreaming, I guess. Well, sometimes I'll get pictures in my minds eye and sound and voices to go with it. Most of the time they are just incredibly random mixes of things, and I usually just open my eyes and try and figure out what it was that I was thinking about and they go away. But I was thinking, is this really a LD introduction technique? Instead of "waking up," should I try and so something else otherwise. I am hesitant to call it waking up because I'm not really asleep, as I can bring myself out of it. Or it is a very, very light stage of sleep. I'm not sure. Any ideas?
