Hullo,

I stumbled onto this site about a year or so ago, although I do not quite remember how. Anyways, here I am a year later, at age 14, introducing myself. I am quite interested in lucid dreamings, the scientific sense, and the actual dreaming of it.

After this post, I'll be looking around the forums, and searching more before my other posts, but I was curious, whats with dream recall? While I have never have a lucid dream before, I can 99% of the time, recall my dreams. I can recall dreams from last night, I can recall dreams for a few weeks ago, I can even recall dreams from my very first years. But not only that, but very specifics. I was wondering, if this is normal, or if I'm lucky to have the ability to do so, because it seems like a big deal when trying to lucid dream.

I certainly hope I will one day be able to have a lucid dream, and help others out.

EDIT: Here's another question, after reaing the thread on not being able to run in non-lucid dreams, it reminded me of something. Sometimes in my non-lucid dreams (The only one's I've had) I have problems seeing. As in it's like my eyes are closed, sometimes they physically are, and I can feel it, othertimes I can't feel it, but I can't see either.

LAST EDIT: Sorry about the edit's, but my dream journal brought this up. I don't know if this is normal, but I usually have a series of dreams. As in, one night, I'll have this dream, it can be a nightmare, good, or miscellanious, and I'll either get the EXACT same dream for some more nights, or it will vary slightly different each time, until I either randomly stop having them, or if it's a nightmare, I will not want to sleep, but the nightmare will go away, once I let go of the fear, and face it or overcome it.
