Then I think I will try the WBTB technique, as I usually find myself waking up around 4am. Then maybe try the HILD technique when i got back to bed?

Which techniques have you had success with, and also how long would you advise I use the dream journal until I attempt one of the techniques.

hey, asking questions is the only way to learn

i have had the greatest success with WBTB. i'll wake up, read about lucid dreaming abit, then return to bed. i either keep the thought "i will remember to recognize i am dreaming" fresh in my mind, or visualize the dream i would like to enter.
