      Omg!

This is crazy, I've been having lucid dreams maybe 1 or 2 every couple of months when I was little and I had no idea that it was possible by other people. I basically thought I was tripping out. I havent had one in about a year. Today I was looking around the web and found this site. I cant believe that its real. I hope to have more lucid dreams in the future. If you can help me out on anything that could help me further into lucid dreaming, id appreciate it alot. Thanks people.
      Steven

      W'sup, man? Welcome to DV.

I started to lose mine when I was about 14-15, and first heard the term "Lucid Dreaming" while in High School. Been practicing ever since. You'll be happy to know that your story's not too uncommon, so there are probably a lot of people here you can relate too.

      Any questions, just ask.

Hey bro and welcome to the dreamviews I think all of us have the ability to ld quite easily and have had it since we were children, its just as we got older we created our own mental block sort of thing. Only practice and a conciouss effort can unlock this ability for us again, good luck and hopefully youll find us all helpfull here
God, grant me the courage the change the things I can, the serenity to accept the things I can't, and the wisdom to know the difference...

I agree sometimes as a kid it scares us alot. We learn to shut it off. As adults(or more mature) we want it back. Sometimes it takes work. Sometimes it just takes being open minded.
