      introducing myself to Newbie Zone

      Hi everyone.
Im useless with computers so I hope Im doing all this right! Ive been having lucid dreams for about two years now, but sometimes I dont have them for months on end and then the other night I had them on and off all night. It seems that my mind has to be in turmoil for it to work! I had had a very busy day and I could not switch off, so I suppose my body fell asleep but my mind didnt. I had the most incredible dream in which my beloved cat who died last year was sitting in front of me and I thought - I wonder if I can talk in this dream - so I called her name and she came to me and I stroked her. Doesnt sound much, but this was the first time Ive spoken in a lucid dream.

Hello to you all anyway. Im sure you all know what youre talking about....I dont.....yet. Everyone I speak to about dreams thinks Im mental.....tell me im not....!

      WILD

Yes thats what I thought it sounded like, having read some of the stuff on the internet. Its great how it stays with you for the next few days isnt it. Ordinary dreams fade quite quickly but I just want to lie in bed the next morning and think everything over. I always write it down too. Im off to bed, but thanks for the offer of help. Its 12.40 in England and I am so not tired! : :

      Yeah, it is excellent, huh?
Sometimes I like to do that as well, but I usually only have time to do that on the weekends.
If you need anymore help, let me know!!

      Welcome to Dream Views, LV!

Everyone goes through dry spells, where they can't manage to have an LD. I can't say I've had that problem because I only manage about one short LD a month. However, just one thing that I would advise is before you go to bed, decide what you want to do when you become lucid. Tell yourself, "When I realize I'm dreaming I will..." It keeps you from taking precious time trying to decide what to do.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask them Sweet lucid dreams!
