      newwwwwwwbie. =)

      hello!

      well i guess i just wanted to introudce myself since i just registered right now.

      i might seem lame but i'm really excited to be in this forum with people who actually understand the concept of lucid dreams. if i were to ask my friends about lucid dreaming they'd be like whattt? so yeah.

      dreaming has always fascinated me and maybe for the past year or so i'd heard about lucid dreaming. Once i heard the concept of lucid dreaming i knew i was close to doing it because i recalled when i was younger i had controlled my dreams a few times and i didn't know there was a term for it. AND.. for majority of my younger life and now i was able to recall my dreams with great ease. one could say that i dream a lot.. but i think that i could just remember them easily. ALSO.. maybe for the past 4-5 years if i ever had a nightmare.. or something scary was happening in my dream.. i would realize that i was dreaming and would wake myself up. that's lucidity right? realizing you're dreaming.

      BUT.. i had never really wanted to control the dream.. maybe a few times.. but it's only now that i know i can.. because before it would be by chance.. and usually when i figure out i'm dreaming.. i wake up right away. up until LAST NIGHT! haha i had the best lucid dream ever.. ! haha but i bet i could have better ones if i practice. so i hope this website can help me out! k well see you guys around =)

      Yes, you're exactly right. Lucid dreaming is knowing you are dreaming. And if that's not cool enough, you can actually control the dream and mold it however you want. Personally, I have no trouble becoming lucid, but it's the control that it tough for me. I usually can only control certain parts or for a short amount of time - but some members of this forum do it almost effortlessly every night.

      I encourage you to read through the tutorials - this site and forum has a lot to offer. Good Luck!

      yes.. along w/ lucidity i want dream control as well.. when i became lucid in my dream last night.. i tried to find someone.. and it took me awhile.. and the scene changes were totally random. so i dont think i had good control.. everything was random.. i just knew i was dreaming.. so i guess i got the lucidity down but not the control. i hope to get better.

      I'm really in the same boat as you.... I know that I have some ability, and I need to be able to tune my ability to harness this power.

      Having a dream journal really helps, i've found. Expecially with dream recollection. The more I remember my dreams, the more dreams I seem to have....
