      Quick question on WILDing

Last night i went to sleep around 1030 and woke up around 5 to go to the bathroom. I went back to bed and tried to WILD, but couldnt even get to the hypnagogic stage. If i want to try a WILD should i wake earlier in the middle of the night, say 3?

And also, i tried aural focusing when i first went to sleep, and after about 10 minutes i felt like my body was floating, not on the bed, i was weightless, so i waited a littlemore and nothing happened. I opened my eyes to see if i was awake, and i was...

Hmm...did you wake up, go to the loo, and go straight back to bed? If you did, you were probably still half asleep anyway, so your first reaction would be to go right back to sleep, almost immediately.
Next time that happens, try actually staying up for an hour, maybe reading about lucid dreaming, or writing in your dreamjournal. Then go back to bed, and focus on your intent to have a lucid dream. Something i try when i have an afternoon nap is this. I say to myself 'Anything you see or hear in the next hour will be a dream.'
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but i have some of the most amazingly vivid dreams that way!
Give it a try, let me know how you get along. also, go read the WILD tutorial, i find it helps sometimes to re read it, just to refresh my memory.
'all of the moments that already passed/
try to go back and make them last.'
