Just kidding, I don't speak german too well (recently started learning it).
Well, I got interested in LDing since I decided to do a report on it.. (3rd time I've gotten "interested" in it, although the other times I simply dropped it after a while, even after briefly visiting this site).
I've yet to intentionally lucid dream, however... I believe I DID become lucid (once.. or so), to some degree when I was actually trying to do so a year(s) ago. That is, I may've just thought I was lucid, although I remember trying the "spinning" technique in the dream.. even though I spun around a tree >.< and nothing happened (not even sure WHY I did it, BTW: It was a civil war-themed dream.. something about me also running up a hit, around and around before reaching a light tower).
Before yesterday, I tried WILDing during a two naps twice and failed.. which just left me feeling messed up (don't remember having a nap for years now).
Tried a few times during two nights, failed again most likely due to doing it (WILD / HILD - Hargart) incorrectly and the snoring of a certain someone ( along with not being able to be.. uh.. tired, even though I woke up 4 hours after going to sleep )
Will try again this night using numerous techniques by setting watch to wake me up in 5 hours, then once I set the alarm to an hour later, try using HILD (Hargart), fails? Use WILD, fails? Go to sleep and so on.
... I eventually should get it right though.. Right? :
Ah.. Sorry for the long introduction post,
Hey there and welcome to the forum!!!
Here is an idea: you could try a DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream). Do some reality checks in real time, and in your dream, you might be able to figure it out.
With WILD, it is actually kind of a hard technique (well, except for the naturals), and it takes a lot of practice to WILD. Try waking up in the middle of your REM cycle, and then try to keep awake (maybe w/a VG) until your body falls asleep. After that, say to yourself you are dreaming, and when you fade into the dream, you'll believe that!!
