      Welcome to Dream Views!

What you are doing is quite common when people first begin to lucid dream. You are allowing yourself to get way too excited. Do everything you can to remain calm, it is difficult, but it works.

When you find yourself in a lucid, just think "Cool, a lucid dream"
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Rubbing your hands and/or spinning around in your dream helps to stablise it, but I often find that I wake up way too quickly to realise that the dream is fading.

The few chances I've had (after my first LD) I just started to rub my hands together furiously as soon as I got lucid, which worked, at least. ^.^
After that I just focused on the environment and stuff, commenting on the fact that I was dreaming.
      A dream
is a reality that others cannot see.
      Reality
is a dream you share with others.

      stay still

When you think you are waking up and have lost your LD,
DON'T MOVE, don't open your eyes, try and stay still or play dead.
You can then re-enter the dream.
