Thread: My first lucid dream...

Last night:

Got pretty drunk. Woke up in the middle of the night coughing and sniffing (have a cold), then finally went back to bed about an hour later. For the next 2-3 hours of my night, I was dreaming lucidly (if that's a word). I won't go into too many details but I had great control. I wanted to see my sister and I remembered that in real life, looking at her picture would help me see her face more clearly when I closed my eyes...so in my dream I picked up a picture of her and VOILA, she was there....although she kept fading and then coming back. The bulk of my dream was spent trying to find her because she kept leaving....and I'd run into other people and get distracted. But it was one of the best experiences of my life....and when my alarm went off (my real alarm), I was PISSED. Haha...anyway, great first experience, I think. I'm trying some techniques and hoping I can increase the occurences.
