New 'official' LD'er. Whats up guys?

Hello there. I am a 20 yr old college student who has always had a knack for remembering dreams and occasionally altering them. Since I was a little kid, I could become 'aware' of a dream. I would have recurring nightmares of a giant T-Rex attacking my house (way before Jurassic Park came out ) One night, i finally had enough, and i stormed out of the house and kicked the T-Rex in his giant foot - of course, he keeled over and began crying. That was the end of that nightmare lol.

I also vividly remember becoming aware of a dream when in elementary school and convincing myself to try flying, and it worked. I had sex with one of my teachers in a dream before I even know what sex WAS lol. Like i said, i have always had a weird knack for this sort of thing. People in my family tend to have weird issues... being aware of ghosts and the like. As soon as I could drive, my friends and I would stake out haunted locations all over the tri state area. I guess some people are just born with acute perception of weird things.

I believe I had a lucid dream last night. I woke up and was walking around my mothers apartment, and a voice in my head kept saying "your dreaming your dreaming!" but my body wouldnt act upon it.

And old friend told me about his experiences with LDing and I had to give it a shot. Who knows, maybe I'll have a few to write about tomorrow

It's nice meeting everyone out there. What is better in life than conversing with like minded people
