Hello, I recently signed up with Dream Views forum.

I've been interested in dreams since I was a kid, and have a dream journal going back to when I was 12.

I've had some spontaneous lucid dreams (usually flying dreams) but have never induced one. I read both Lucid Dreaming and then Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming years ago, but have never consistently maintained a practice of inducing lucidity.

Lately (the past few years) I've not been remembering my dreams well, but feel that getting back into it and also deepening the practice could increase not just lucidity in dreams, with useful insights resulting there, but also increase self-awareness in the dayworld. So, with my New Years Resolution to become a generally more mindful person, I sought and found this forum and it looks like it could be a real motivation enhancer if I participate in this adventure with others rather than remain a lone wolf.

That is great that you started at so young.
That is a cool Resolution, and if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask.

Welcome, abaddon! I feel like I know that name from somewhere but I can't remember where from. Oh well.

It's definately helps to accomplish your goals when you have others to support you and answer questions. So, if you need anything just let us know. Also, if you need any help with the site itself, we, the Dream Guides (the green guys), or the other moderators would be happy to help out!
