      My first try

      K this was a werid experiance for me but cool none the less well im not sure if it would be called lucid but you all can tell me. Earlyer in the day my friend ( he has an account on here) told me about lucid dreaming that night i think i had an experiance. well i was dreaming and all of a sudden people started being eaten by fish so i was like yeah this is a dream and went off and played guitar inthe dream i dunno if taht was me doin it or was it just taht becasue i had herd about it i was dreaming bout it could you help me with that?

      That's really all you need to know right there. If you really knew it was a dream when you thought that, then you were definitely lucid.

      It's not uncommon for some people to experience lucid dreams simply because the idea has been introduced to them recently; the subconscious mind can pick up on things quickly. A lot of people have lucid dreams before ever knowing it's possible in the first place.

      If you want to really learn how to do this and have some control over it -- which is a lot of fun -- I suggest you read the material on the DreamViews Main Site, and then browse the Tutorials section. There's a lot of good information there. Then if you have specific questions about what to do, look here in the forums for discussions that apply, and don't be afraid to ask questions. We're happy to help!
