Lucid dream on my first attempt

Hello everyone! Im new to the forum but have been reading and thinking a lot about dreams and lucid dreams for a few months. I've had a couple of lucid dreams when i was younger where i flew and slayed the monsters in my nightmares and stuff. As for most people this became rare when i got older. Im today 21 and I almost never have nightmares or lucid dreams anymore. Anyway, I started reading some about lucid dreaming on the internet a few months ago, got inspired by the film Waking life (GREAT FILM depicts the dreamworld in a realistic manner) and by the music i listen to (goa and psy). I had three short lucid dreams during the last 1 1/2 month without realy trying, both were short and either i lost lucidity or woke up after just a few minutes. In two of them the dreamsign that made me lucid was sex and in the third it was violence Last night i decided to start my journey to lucidity for real, with dream recalling, MILD, setting the alarm clock 1 hour early etc. And guess what, I got result on the first try. The lucid dream appeared at the end of my last REM period and lasted for only a few moments before i woke up. As before the dreamsign that made me realize i was dreaming was sex Unfortunately i decided I should continue with what i was doing and remaining lucid while having sex is rly hard Next time im definately going to control my urges and do something more productive. Im probably just going to focus trying to stay lucid as long as possible. Also im going to try to be aware when I'm waking up and see if I can experience some remaining sleep paralyzis. Who knew sleeping could be so much fun!
