      Hey Everyone!

Hey everyone, I figured I might as well introduce myself. I have been interested in the concept of Lucid Dreams from the time I saw some sci-fi episode (I think it was some Star Trek spin-off on UPN) where the person preformed a chant so that he'd realize he was dreaming. That was more than four years ago and by chance I found this site yesterday.

So far I am amazed with how much help this site actually is, and how professional it is compared to other Lucid Dream sites. I started the dream recall techniques yesterday as I never remember my dreams unless I awake from a nightmare; surprisingly I was able to remember two with relatively good clarity so I have total faith in everyone here and all their ideas. So thanks everyone, and I can't wait to get to know all of you!

Hey there and welcome to the forum!!
That is awesome, a Star Trek episode actually having that!!
What I might suggest to you for recalling your dreams is keeping a Dream Journal, and writing in it as much as possible! You could even start one on here!
If you need anymore help than that, or have any other questions, feel free to ask!

      AMEN!

I am myself pretty outstanded by how well this site, and this community, tackle such a subject as lucid dreaming. All the other sites I've seen have had some new agey or religious affiliation, connotation or overall theme...

As a new member, I'm glad to see how this site and community deal with lucid dreaming and dream recall in such a practical, no-nonsense and genuinely instructive and helpful manner... As an atheist and sceptic(about SOME things, at least...), this is really important... I feel if I had joined (one of?) thge other communities I've seen, I would have felt pretty out-of-place in a community of... well... If you'll allow me to be absolutely blunt, a bunch of net-hippies who really aren't all that much of a help. I mean sure, I'm sure there's "new age" types on this site, but from what I've seen so far, they seem to focus instead on practical help and advice... which is, quite frankly, awesome!

Big thumbs up to the mods and community in general, I know from my experience as a bit of a forum whore that you very seldom find a community like this! 8)

(forgive me my rant plz... just, very pleased with the community...)

There are many people who work hard to make it as professional as possible. I am so glad to be a part of something so cool.
