That dream sounded wonderful - I love flying dreams. My best dreams have been while I've been flying. So did you actually know you were dreaming, or just able to control the magic carpet? Sometimes there's a fine line between being able to change small things in the dream and being at a low level of lucidity.

I'm glad you asked because I was unsure whether to call it a lucid dream.
I remember the dream very clearly but at the time I did not think to myself "Wow, I'm dreaming". However, I do remember being in control of my flying although it was limited to me just going up or down.

I guess this means that it wasn't a lucid dream? This is good though because I am still yet to experiance the pleasures of having a lucid dream!!
