      Hi akadiago and

Tornado Joe struggles to glance away from bouncing jugs in akadiago's avatar...

Glad you found the site, many of us here feel they wish they'd known about it earlier (it's just never too early to learn about LDing!)

Would like to hear a bit more about your LD level of experience, if you don't mind sharing.

We got a pretty friendly community here and I'm sure you'll find no problems in finding some others like yourself to chat with - oh, don't forget to check out the site's chat room! If there's any particular issue you would like to contact someone privately about, feel free to do so by PMing any of the Dream Guides, here to serve you and get you acclimated into the community.

      See you around

      thanks for the welcome.

unfouturetly i havent been able to meet a real life
version of my Avatar but heres hoping.

my experience with LD, is that I've always had an
ability to remember my dream really well and they
always seem really real. Also sometimes i've been able
to control, maybe once a month or so.

So when a mate told me about LD, I was very interested
in looking into it, having now found out what I experienced
was called. So I went out and brought myself a copy of

-Exploring The World Of Lucid Dreaming-

that was about a week ago, then while doing some
reasearch on the net found this site.

So i'm a bit of a newbe to LD, but I feel like I've known
      about for ages. Bit werid.

      Whats you experience of it?

Well, that's not suprising. I've experienced sleep paralysis many times before I even heard about lucid dreaming. I just figured it was a bad dream or something. But now that I know what it is, I look forward to experiencing it because I know that it's part of the sleeping process and with some practice I can slip myslef right into a dream from it.

Since you're a beginner and say you have good dream recall, make sure you get that dream journal started and keep up with it. It will help with identifying dreamsigns and also make your recall even better.

i really like the idea of a dream journal, cant belive I hadnt thought
      of it before.
I always kept a notebook by my bed that i write music/lyrics ideas in
so i just now write about my dreams and not just the ideas they
      give me.

I always in my dreams had the problem that sometimes i feel like i'm
controling my dreams for real and then sometime I have the feeling that
i'm just perciving that i have control over then. (maybe it all the same??)

So how long have you been doing this?
How experienced are you with lucid dreaming, can you
      control your dreams yet?

Also you reply quickly to the messages, what do you get from being
a Dream Guide, i am gonna get some PM saying "hey buy my new book
for just £1000000", :-) or do you just do it coz you like helping people?

Hahaha -- yah, book is due in June, will ship to England in May..... NOT!!

No, I just think everyone has a basic human right to experience this exhilirating phenomenon of lucid dreams and if I can help in any way, that's just reward itself. No one here gets a paycheck (ehh... as far as I know ) and I guess my frequent visits and time spent here is what aids in my quick responces. However, don't get used to it, there's times when I can't get on here for a couple days or so - and that's when someone else will swoop in and help.

As for me, I joinded the very next day after experiencing my first LD (till then I had been lurking around the site). Saw it was for real, joined and have been learing and helping ever since. Spent 10 days at a dreamcamp with Stephen LaBerge last November discussing, experimenting and learning all about lucid dreaming (much of which I had already learned here - so you're in the right place! )
