      another one

      Hi there
I stumbled across your forum while searching for something about lucid dreams (my friend told me that there's a name for dreams i am aware of and can control, and she learned about it in a documentary, so I searched Google).
I've had them since i was a little girl, though less frequent now when I grew up.. back then were mostly related with me coming to see my imaginary friends that lived in a beautiful land inside my dreams heh
Lately I've been having those more often and It's very enjoyable, especially cause I love adventures.. I see here there's a way to train yourself for them to become more often, so I'm just gonna snoop around for some interesting advice..

Hi, there. Welcome to the forum. It's wonderful that you have already had experience with LDing. I bet you'll have some cool experiences to share with all of us, and some advice for some of the other Newbs. Have fun!

Oh I don't know about advice because it's not that I intend to make LDs happen, they just kind of do.. I've always had wierd dreams, but I've noticed it's easier to concentrate and vizualize yourself doing something when you're extremely tired (or drunk ), and then just continue dreaming about that heh.. Something I've done as a little girl in bed before bedtime was I'd close my eyes and picture my bare feet.. Make myself feel as if standing and looking at my feet..Then my feet would start walking down the stairs, walking until i see them clearly moving, and then I'd lift my gaze and see the familiar fairytale landscape where my imaginary friends were But that was a child's imagination..
Last night I had an LD I was in front of some house, in a garden, and simply knew I was dreaming. So I breathed in the air and smelled the flower fragrances and realized it's no different that reality.. All my life could be just a dream, because clearly I can't feel a difference in matter when dreaming..I sence aromas and feel touching a stone in a dream, as I do in real life.. So a thought came to my mind to come inside the house and press the light switch..something I saw in a movie once, supposedly to know you're dreaming you must find a clock or press the light switch, and if you cannot see the time clearly, or cannot turn the light off, then you're dreaming.. well I tried to switch the light off but coudn't.. It was very funny I knew I could make myself wake up but didn't wanna ruin the fun, and just started picturing cute guys, they'd just appear before me (didn't tell that part to my boyfriend )
Sometimes I dream dreaming in a dream, like once I had an LD and then I woke up to find I'm still dreaming and I've had something like a subLD in in my dream.. just wierd

      Hey miracidij!

There are so many techniques to help you improve your LDing abilities and how frequent you have them. Everybody is different, so you may have to experiment for a while to find the technique that suits you best.

      Good luck LDing!

Hey, welcome to the board. From what you said in your second post, it sounds like you might be a natural WILDer. Someone will correct me if i'm wrong. Perhaps you should check out the tutorial for that, and see if it matches any of the things you do? I also find the easiest way into a lucid dream is to gradually start visualising things and putting them together.
Also, check out the other tutorials in the section, and i'm sure you'll soon find a method that suits you perfectly!
