      noob on the block

      Hi everyone

I'm Harkell and I'm new here. I first heard about lucid dreaming a year ago and tried (and failed) to get LD's. But that was only because I wasn't gettng into it enough!!! This time I really am going to write out my dream diary (properly) and pay more attention to my RC's during the day and stick to the forum (ld4all never seemed to work out). I've had a few LD's but none were particularly good quality and didn't last very long. BTW if you've seen my name on any other sites it's probably me (very unique name). 8)
      I haven't failed
I've just found seven thousand three hundred and eighteen ways that don't work.

      Hi, welcome to the board!
I am glad you have finally decided to stick with learning to LD, it does take a lot of time and practise.
Maybe you should start by looking at some of the tutorials in the tutorial section, and find a technique that works for you.
Also, try looking in Attaining lucidity, as there are many varied forms of becoming lucid, some of which aren't mentioned in the tutorial section.
Keep writing in your DJ and you will find that your recall increases, as well as your awareness. During the day, try to be aware of the world around you, try to convince yourself that what you are seeing could possibly be a dream.
LD4all...i go there sometimes, haven't been for ages.
Good luck, and PM me if you have any more questions!

      Hey there Harkell, and welcome!

Check out the Tutorials section -- I'm sure you'll find something in there that will work for you. If you have any questions about any of it, just ask -- someone here will have the answer.

      Hiya

Remember, that you gotta find a reality check that's best for you, some of the ones which people recommend are really subjective. The general consensus though is that anything to do with hands works really well.

Hey, welcome to the forum! It's great to have you with us. I hope that you succeed in your dreaming this time around. We also have a great adoption program that you can utilize when you are two weeks old here.
