My first LD was 15 yrs ago

      Hi 2 everyone,
Just about last night I wondering if there's anyone out there sharing about LD
and guess what, can't tell u all how I'm really excited to found and joined DV
Hopefully this will be the beginning path 4 me to have my lucid dream back after 15 yrs ago.
My first LD was so clear, it's really awesome to be so conscious to know that I'm in a dream and can do things such as flying
Well, I really need your guides for another LD. Thanks!

      Dreamscape

      Thanks
Btw have u all seen a pretty old (1984) movie called Dreamscape starring Dennis Quaid. It's about peoples that can entering somebody's dream and do bad things that causing them to die in real life. Is there any chance some bad guy can use LD to do that?
      Sorry for the silly question

Hi, welcome to the board! I've heard of that movie, but never seen it. And no, you can't enter someone's dream and cause them to die in real life, because dreams are a product of the brain, and not related in that sense to waking life.
And it's not a silly question.
There is something that is supposed to exist called 'dream sharing', it's where two people take part in the same dream and talk about it the next day. I've never tried it, but i'm sure if you did a search on it, you'd find something.
Also, you could try looking at 'Attaining lucidity' for help with acheiving lucid dreams, also, check out the tutorial forums, there are many different techniques there that you can try, just find one that works for you.
Let me know if there's anything else i can help you with.

Wow, you could do that in your first LD. In that case you are probably a natural at this. I actualy managed to half fly in my second one (which was before I found this forum), it really is great. I guess I another luck one, as I have had 4 lucids since joining on March 11. Sadly I only recall two (one last night), and both are under 10 seconds, and haven't yet managed control over the dream (though I almost succeeded in forcing myself to stay asleep on my second-to-last LD, which I had while waking up in the morning, in which i didn't even have time to stabilize). Start a DJ, and work on you recall, too. I am still rather beginnerish, and I am already very happy to be here. Even just remembering your dreams is worth the effort, (but Lucids are more fun). Work at it. Like I already said like three times, it is completely worth the effort!

Yeah flying it's fun but kind of frightened too when flying over the city, top of buildings, but since it's fun I just ignored it that time That's why I still remembering it so vividly until 15 years.

Btw, I wanna share with all of u about my dream last night, In my dream I've identified 4 dreamsigns that I think it's weird in awake life (1. half naked babysitter sat at the bedroom corner, 2. Fitness equipment in the office loby beside the lifts, 3. Lot of clothes selling with the racks in the middle of the office space on the 2nd floor, 4. Little laughing sound that only can heard by me and my 2nd friend except my 3rd friend)
Though I felt they're weird but couldn't make myself to ask "Am I dreaming?" in my dream.
Is there's an easiest way to make myself to ask that question to trigger my lucidity?
