I think quite a few people wake up as their dreams start getting good, I know I do most of the time. It's good to hear that you are having nice dreams, and I'm glad to hear that you're open minded.

I've had a few lucid dreams in my lifetime, but I wake up just when the dream starts to get good.... That's always sooooo disappointing. I used to have alot of depressing dreams, but over the last couple of years, I've had some really pleasant, happy ones, and it's so nice.

I'm sure that I will be able to learn to have the kinds of dreams I want, and actually finish them as I learn more about this whole process and experiment with it.

That's great that you have had LDs of your own! And it is really common to wake up from one when you get too excited. The solution is to calm down.

That's great - this forum is an awesome place to share experiences without feeling like you're going to be judged by everyone. We're a very open-minded group. I think you'll really enjoy it here.
