It's great that you have decided to join forces with the LD Avengers! (Sorry, I feel perky this morning) Anyway, have a great time while you're here, and I am sure that if you need help, there is someone (or a lot of someones) who can help you with your plight.

      Hey Tets, welocme

So what kind of techniques or methods have you been trying so far? Are you following any particular method (MILD, WILD, WBTB) or are you kind of wingin' in it?

I'm sure you may have heard this already but if you're starting out a dream journal is essential.

      Good luck

Haha, now you're even talking like a pirate!

Anyway, welcome to the forum, Tetsufox! As you can see, this is an awesome community and we love to have fun and tease each other occasionally. But you've come to the right place to learn how to LD! Please feel free to post any questions or experiences you may have! Good luck and have fun!

yeah you should try to do reality check throughout the day (it increased my dream recal by 66% in just one night). make sure you read EVERYTHING on the main page from intro-dream control. and you should just think about Lucid Dreaming a lot. that way you will end up remembering in your sleep! Kinda like how if you think about burgers a lot, you might dream about it....same thing

      good luck!

I found dream recall changes day by day. One day I may remember 5 dreams, and another barely 1. I think one day in the past week and a half I didn't remember anything. Also, having passion about what you want to achieve in a Lucid Dream can also be very beneficial. Reality checks haven't worked for me, since they tend to fail. When I go lucid, I just happen to know I am dreaming without doing a RC.
