      BrainGen questions

First of all, has anyone had any success with it? (here is the link to the tutorial, in case you don't know what I'm talking about)

Next question . . . apparently the BWGen program simulates frequencies in the brain wave range by playing a different frequency in each ear, and your brain processes these as a single frequency within the brain wave range. Does this mean that you must use headphones for it to work properly?

Hey there and welcome to the forum!

Although I haven't ever used the BrainGen b4, I heard it has a decent amount of success, and you can try it if you want to, or you could check out the tutorials and decide from there what methods you want to use. Keeping a Dream Journal will also help your recall increase as well.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

      Hi Pattern,

      Do you need headphones?
I have used BrainWaveGen before and yes, you must use headphones. You could try and use speakers on each side of your bed, but once you turn your head a bit you'll lose the effect.

      Does it work?
I've noticed a significant effect in at least getting me to fall asleep quicker and making me drowsy - specially as the frequency drops into the lower ranges. The modulation feels very soothing and comforting. As far as having lucid dreams - if the theory of how it works correct, it should increase your chances of becoming lucid - but there is no guarantee. It is, after all, up to the person's level of intent before going to sleep that I think makes the bigger diffference (see MILD technique).
