hi, this is my first post at these forums i've tried to do enough research before posting so i dont' get flamed.[/b]
Hey, as far as getting flamed goes, if there's one place it won't happen, is dreamviews... from what I've seen, flaming doesn't happen here. At the very worst, you might get somebody linking you to a few tutirials or other threads, all very friendly-like. LOL. It surprised me as well, considering the other forums I've been on... But yeah, very friendly bunch, we are.

anway i have had about 5 or 6 WILD dreams, i never knew what a lucid dream was or what a WILD was until i found this site a few days back. i can't controll when they come but they just do, sometiems when i'm sleeping during class , or at night, but very rarly. like it says in the guides i get those vibrating feelings before entering the dream.[/b]
Cool! Wow. I wish I could WILD during class. That'd be awesome. LOL. As it is, I have to work quite hard to get WILDs.

Hmmm... well, I guess the simplest answer is, you can't really STOP them coming. (Although, I might be wrong here, so if a more experienced member knows otherwise... yeah) BUT, if you can learn to have them at will, then perhaps, when they do come, you'll have more control over them, and could break out of them if you didn't want them...

is it possible for me to have normal lucid dreams instead of these WILD kinds?
WILD is a method for inducing lucid dreams... now, although there are SOME differences between WILDs and LD's induced by other methods, the essential nature is largely the same. My guess is, it isn;t the end result of the WILD that you don't like, it's the actual process... (Might be wrong here? Tell me if I am) But yeah, if you don't like the process, of course you can learn to have LDs using other methods of induction.

sometimes the vibrating starts and i try to get out of it cause it is so scary and my head starts vibrating and i realy dont' like it.
Yeah, vibrations are classic signs of WILD and Sleep Paralysis in general. Personally, I love the vibrations, I think they're great fun. Remember, they're NOTHING to be scared of. Totally natural, just sit back and enjoy it, if it happens.
However, I found that the more I made my WILD attempts, the less I noticed the vibrations. At the moment, I hardly feel them at all. So, my advice would be to actively practice WILD and get used to all the sensations. As time goes by, you should notice them less and less...
