I've just found this forum ...

... and I'm surprised to see so many people who are interested in lucid dreams! This special kind of dreams seems to have become very popular and I'm happy to have found such a nice looking website/forum about this topic.

I'm 17 (18 in a few days) years old and I live in Germany. I first heard about lucid dreams when I was recommended the movie "Waking Life" on another forum. I loved it straight from the first time I've watched it and my interest in dreams grew dramatically.
I decided to give it a try and bought the book "Exploring the world of lucid dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge.
I've been keeping a dream journal for a few weeks now and my ability to recall dreams increases. In fact I've been learning to love having dreams since getting to know about LDs.
I haven't ever had a LD and I guess it will take some more time until I'm successful. Yet it's just fun to deal with dreams.

That's it for now, I'm sure I'll be lurking around this forum in the next time.

I'm living in the west of Germany, still I have to say that I like the south better

      greetings,

you say lucid dreaming is getting popular?
in germany i almost never see this subject being mentioned in the media.

when i talk with people about it they seem uninterested most of the time and dont seem to realize the possibilities of LD.

well in my opinion its still very unpopular in germany - so you can have the fun of feeling a bit elitarian at least..
