Hi! I've been a member for awhile now, but have yet to port my introduction, so here goes...
My name is Brian, I am 29 years old, from Indianapolis, IN. I have been interested in lucid dreaming for a very long time, but never have managed to be lucid on a regular basis or to have very much control over a dream once I become lucid. My method varies, but normally I try to do as many RCs in a day as I can fit in along with some MILD when going to sleep - though as stated this combo is not having a success rate I would brag about. I have also tried WBTB -> WILD a few time, but have had no success at all with that combo (with the exception of 1 instance where I was able to successfully WILD into a lucid dream and have some control, but that was before I even knew about WILD.
I have also been trying to supplement my efforts with 100 mg of vitamin B6 (I use a B-Complex so I get all B vitamins), but have only been trying this for a few nights and cannot really say whether or not it has had an effect.
I think part of my initial barrier to LDing when I started was that it seemed to be a fringe community and I couldn't find a lot of information on it or people that had successfully used the techniques that I was able to read about. A lot seems to have changed since my earlier days because I am now able to find whole communities of people that are LDing regularly - hopefully this will register in my SC and allow me to truly believe that LD is easy to do and I will be able to become a true Oneironaut (spelling?)!
