#11 Or something for the day? Hello

      Hi.
I just joined up. I've been practicing lucidity with limited success for years now, a few months ago I made some lifestyle changes and my dream recall ability has gone through the roof. I am passionate about this stuff, although it isn't my number one hobby, I'm a passionate person

I am simply amazed at the number of fantastic lucid experiences that people have posted here, I hope that by exposing myself to this collective I can have some experiences of my own.

Anyway, hello, and see you around.

      Hey inTheName and

Great to have you join us and to hear you're enjoying the site. There's a great mix of poeple on all different skill levels, from those very passionate about lucid dreaming to those who simply are curious. Since all of us go through periods of struggling when it comes to lucidity, would you mind sharing some of these lifestyle changes that seem to have worked for you?

Looking forward to your insights and to seeing you around in the forums

      Hey - welcome!

If you don't mind, what kind of lifestyle changes (seconding Joe's request...)?

Dream recall seems to be one of the biggest hurdles for people getting in to LD. For me, it has become an issue over the past couple weeks, though I think I know why. I'd sure like to hear more detail about your experiences though!

      changes

Well, the lifestyle changes don't seem so drastic when im asked to share them. .. Mainly I quit smoking weed, in connection with that, I made my awake time more worthwhile to myself, doing more things that i thought were fullfilling. I ate food I considered to be more healthy, and quit eating meat and dairy because mass producing animal products is not only disgusting but barbaric to me. Im no veggie-nazi, I just think that mad cow disease and avian flu is nature's manifestation in response to our abuses. I try to stretch as much as possible and maintain a mental image of my body, sorta like an (a?) RC. Basically I am trying to drive all the escapism from my life, and I think that is directly connected with there being more space in my REM state for consciousness.
