      Saying Hi

      Hello everyone

Well a bit about me, i'm fron the UK, to be more specific Kent. I'm 16 and studying A-Levels.
My first name is Simon, make up any nick name you wish, Si, Simone I've heard them all..

I don't know when I first heard of Lucid dreams, but clicking the random article link on Wikipedia came up with Lucid Dreams, the name sounded familiar so I started reading. Out of all the articles what are the chances of finding somthing intresting using that link

From everything i've read I think this could be an uphill struggle for me since I barely have a dream I can remember a month, the last dream I can remember features a Black and White cat on a small red Bicycle, and it then riding off jumping over fences

I mainly enjoy computer games and learning Web Design and Web Languages (mainly PHP) as hobbies..

      Thats pretty much me

P.S - If someone would be kind enough to change my name to Sitre perhaps, the 00 has become a bit of a habit.

Hey, Simon. Welcome to the forum. I hope that you find all that you need here, and I hope that you are able to attain lucidity based on the things you learn on this forum. Anyway, if I were you, i would PM Seeker about a name change. I am sure he would be happy to help you. If you need anything, just ask!

      Just don't give up, yo.
Lucid dreaming is worth the uphill struggle.
...and it's not that big of a struggle, really. I mean, first, most people don't take that long to achieve lucidity, and second, What do you have to do, sleep? Dream?
That's a struggle I'll take on any day.
      Hell yeah!

You'd be surprised how much better you'll be able to recall your dreams after a short time of applying yourself to it. I theorize that when we become older, we remember those things that are important to us, and since for much of soceity dreaming isn't that important many people just don't remember them. However, if you put your mind to it, your mind will realize that it is important and you'll be able to remember more. Just be diligent in the use of your dream journal.

      Welcome, Sitre!

I agree. Wanting it is the first step towards obtaining lucid dreams. Check out the great tutorials we have on the forums or pm a dreamguide. Gwen answered your screenname question. Welcome to DVs.
