      Jedi Knight

      Just introducing myself

I have actually had some Lucid Dream experiences here and there throughout my life. At one point I had several in a row and started to write them down. The important difference is that I was still "subjected" in my dreams and practiced no control. I did however know that I was dreaming and allowed the experience to unfold in front of me while knowing this. These dreams came at a very intense time in my life. I'm a recovering addict who at the time was still in the grip of my disease. I've been clean 3 years now.

Most everyday I experience a strange sense of clarity upon waking. I will wake up and instantly, almost involuntarily, start to organize whatever dream I just had. My mind will on it's own start to separate pieces of my dream. I immediately will connect objects and situations to objects and situations that have been present in daily life over the past few days. Stuff I know I saw and retained that found a place in my dreams. I believe that Lucid Dreaming is directly connected to Higher-Self. I believe that when we do this we tap into a truth too vast for the conscious mind to grasp...it's an important truth at that. I really do feel that our dream state is closer to true reality than blunt consciousness. I think that the human race has it backwards. In dreams we can do ANYTHING...all it takes is a clear request in the form thought. I feel that this is the essence of life...that this is what masters like Jesus, Buddha...and many more tried to teach. Theres a lesson in Yoda..I feel that Star Wars was a God inspired film.

I am excited to have landed here and pleased to meet you all.

Welcome to the forum! Glad you found the place. It's nice to hear that you do your own dream interpretation - since the best person to interpret your dreams is yourself! Well done. And since you've already had some LDing experience, you should have a lot of good information to bring to the forum. Good luck and have fun!
