Thread: New here :)

My name is Wesley, I'm 18, and I found this site today through random internet carousing. I've been aware of the concept of the LD, I learned of it as a child, but never attempted to pursue it. I would always make a note of any lucid dream, however, and I already have a few dream signs that kick me into lucid mode. My problem seems to be that once I know I'm dreaming, I wake up, or don't retain lucidity very long at all. They happen pretty infrequently without me trying anything, so I figured now I would actively start pursuing lucid dreaming, and I found this place I have good dream recall, and am going to start keeping a dream journal, as well as starting with the FILD technique, seeing as I often find myself waking up too early/often throughout the night lately. Tonight will be my first night actually pursuing anything, and I hope to achieve great things in my dreams through some work
