      Hey, new and saying hi

      Hello

I'm new to the site, and i wanted to introduce myself. I'm Ronald but you can call me ron or ronald mcdonald w/e floats your boat. I'm 17, and my interests are in my profile not like you'd look at it anyways =P. Though i can tell you one thing if it's not already obvious, i enjoy Tea!

Anyways... what intrigued me into this was the idea of actually remembering my dreams, and contemplating the contexts of them. Also to have fun and put good use to my sleep time besides resting.

My cousin actually brought LD to me and caught my interest so thats how i came across this site, by searching it up on google.

Dunno else to say other than i'm a newb and i would appreciate any tips on getting started to lucid dream. I read that you must first learn dream recall, but besides actually telling yourself before you sleep "to remember your dream when you wake up". What are other forms of technique which would help train me in being concious or even remembering my dream?

Any advice is appreciated! and thank you for your time.

Hey there and welcome to the forum!

If you want my opinions, I would seriously recommend that you keep a DJ. They have a DJ forum on here that you can use. You may also want to take a look at the tutorials.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

She can also ask another member, too! Other members can help besides the staff you know, especially those that are experts at LDing.

Actually, we're all jerks. Especially us experts.

Anyway, A dream journal will definately help.
Make sure that you don't wake up rushed. Give yourself 10 minutes every morning BEFORE you get out of bed, and leave a pad of paper by your bed. I sleep with a wireless keyboard, and notepad already open on my computer. This way, I can lay back, and close my eyes, while I write out my dream.
Write down the dream AS SOON as you wake up. Don't hit the dang snooze button and fall asleep again. Don't expect to remember your dream later. Even if I remember my dreams later, I ALWAYS end up writing important details in my dream journal that I DON't remember later. It's surprising sometimes.
Every dream that you write down will further bridge the gap between your waking and sleeping conscious, and help you remember your next dream better, AND make it easier to lucid dream. That is the goal: to close that gap. (Creating alpha "logical" brainwaves with the theta "dream" brainwaves.)
And lastly, don't believe anything that NESgirl says. She's really sneaky. LOL!

People on here are jerks? Maybe we should all LD about Beef Jerky then!

If I was really lying, my pants would be on fire, and I would have devil horns growing out of my head

If you seriously have any questions, you may ask, and I will answer them truthfully.
