Hi guys! i'm so glad I found this site!
I've had lucid dreams naturally on and off for the past few years but they've always been unpleasant- sleep paralysis and trippy things happening like flying off round the room, people chatting at the end of my bed, hands clawing me under... I'd try to wake myself up cuz I know i'm dreaming, think i'd managed but then something else would happen and i'd know i was still asleep. Not an enjoyable experience....
I had a really unpleasant one a few weeks ago and thought i'd search the internet for some info- I never realised lucid dreams could be a good thing! Since reading the advice I've been able to control my lucid dreams much better (not totally- def needs more practice) and i'm loving it! So thanks for turning my traumatic nights into fun ones!
