      Probably Heard It All Before.

      Alright, I think I have become confused some how. I have heard of OBE, AP, lucid dreaming and dream recall. Though I didn't know that there was a big difference in any of them. This is what I have picked up:

      Dream Recall: The ability to acknowlegde that one is dreaming, by a object, smell, ect.
      Lucid Dreaming: The ability to acknowlegde that one is dreaming and is able to control ones self throughout the whole dream.
      Out of Body Experience(OBE): Ones ability to relax and bring ones inner self into the real world.
      Astral Projection(AP): Ability to bring ones inner self into reailty and project from place to place at will

      I have a feeling that all of this is wrong could some one or a mulipule of people post thier thoughts or definitions on the four?

      Welcome to our forum! Yes, I'm afraid you are a bit confused. Let me see if I can clear up a couple of things:

      No, Dream Recall is simply the ability to remember your dreams after you have awakened.

      That's a little closer to being correct, however having a lucid dream does not necessarily mean that you are in control of the dream -- merely that you are aware that it is a dream, while you are still dreaming. Usually once you become lucid, you will find that you can exert control over what happens in the dream, but not always.

      I'm not going to comment on AP and OBE, since I am skeptical that they even exist. But I'm sure you'll get some other responses.
