Hmm, I think you may have had an LD! Just because you didn't have any control doesn't matter. You can be lucid with no control, just as you can have control without being lucid. The two things are not dependant on each other.
So if you knew you were dreaming - than, congrats - you were lucid!
Good job with the recall and keeping your dream journal. Keep up the good work. Have you dscovered any common dreamsigns yet? If so, if any of them could happen in real life, you may be able to incorporate a reality check when it happens, and increase you chances of becoming lucid.
For example, a common dreamsign of mine is not being able to properly dial a phone. So any time I fumble the numbers in real life, which does happen occasionally, I do a reality check. This has actually gotten me lucid several times. Try it with a common dreamsign of yours. Pick a reality check that you are comfortable with and works for you. Personally, I use the clock one - I compare a wall clock to my wristwatch, because they never match when I'm dreaming. Other people just look twice at the same clock to see if the times match. Or hold your nose and try to breathe, etc. Whatever works for you.
If you want to, why not move into trying some induction techniques?
