Thread: Hello!!! =D Lucid Progress

Well i spent alot of yesterday reading up about LD, so i decided to try last night. I had been thinking about it all day and practicing Reality Checks etc (looking at clock and back) I attempted the WILD technique.

Later that night after i had finally got to sleep, 5 hours later i woke up, i had set my alarm but i woke up before it, so i decided to try and get back to sleep whilst remaining consious, about one hour later after trying, i was in deep thought about something, i heard loud fire crackling (linked with my thoughts) and then i started to see images of my bedroom, which faded and swirled away, then i experienced a loud machine like sound and i started spinning around, but then i got excited and awoke.

After trying to get back to sleep i had managed to get sleeping, (i can not remember the hypno part and i awoke in my dream.) The first thing i remember is looking at an analog clock and then looking away, and when i looked back i saw 4 hands on it, i also recall looking in he mirror and at my hands (my face was blurred in the mirror) i then went down to my garden in my dream and atempted to fly (failed) then all i remember is being in another dream and being sure i was awake and then from that point it was normal...

I'm happy that i did reality checks and maybe (even though i didnt have much control, if not any). But i found it difficult to get back to sleep after the 5 hours (maybe i was excited etc)
But im going to keep trying and i would be appreciatative if anyone could give my tips on my situation!
